Rania Stathopoulou is Head of Property at Vodafone Greece. Having studied Physics at the University of Athens and following a MSc in Environmental Technology & Management at Imperial College London, she performed a research/academic carrier at the Physics dept. of the University of Athens, from where she achieved a PhD in Environmental Physics. In 2007 she joined Vodafone, Technology division, streamlining the environmental licensing of the company’s radio base stations portfolio, and in 2011 she took the role of Environmental Manager, leading to her current position since 2016. Vodafone Property dept. manages the company’s buildings portfolio of offices, telecom exchange centers, data centers and retail shops, through Strategy, Real Estate, Facilities Management, Network buildings infrastructure design & deployment, Power & Energy, Capital projects & Workplace, Health, Safety & Wellbeing, Sustainability and Environmental management. Her 17 years of work experience include 5 years in the scientific research field and 12 years in the telecom infrastructure sector. Her research activity reveals 9 publications in international scientific journals.
